Maggie Taylor began her career as a photographer by making still lifes with a 4x5" view camera. In 1995 she began using the computer as a retouching tool for her images, scanning her 4x5 negatives. That was a project by The Cool Hunter for a pitch to McDonalds for an upmarket pop-up restaurant for fashion week. The concept was to give McDonalds food a complete makeover and re-brand the fast food giant with an aesthetic suitable for a 5 star restaurant. Great work!

The artist Pina Delvaux collects and puts together in boxes objects which have got lost. Useless, orphaned things allow her to develop new statements in her own artistic language. I love her works so much! Every box seems has a story and own history.
